• Keep everything from top of show to "You can go at lunch".
  • Cut "It Roars (Reprise)".
  • In Where Do You Belong?, after the line "that also jazz!", add the following lyrics…

    DAMIAN:
    Stay!
    Here's where you belong…
    Stay! Here…

    (JANIS, STUDENTS):
    (Here's where you belong,)
    (Stay here…)

    CADY:
    Okay, I'm stayin'!
  • In Meet the Plastics (Part 1), add the following lyrics to Karen's introductory solo…

My skirt is pretty. [Changed from "My skirt is tiny".]
I got in on sale down at Old Navy.
  • Keep everything the same from "Wait. Why don't I know you?" to the beginning of Apex Predator.
  • Keep all of the original lyrics from the full-length musical for Apex Predator. Remove both of the extra scenes during the song. Change "reproductive threat" to "super dangerous threat". Change "Jesus, what a day" to "Golly, what a day"
  • Keep everything the same from "Wow. Your room is really nice." to "October third. My new fav'rite day."
  • Add in Karen's song Sexy, but change it to Groovy. "Sexy" changes to "Groovy", "Sex" changes to "Groove", and "Hot" changes to "Cute". The lyrics from "Don't like who you are?" to "And drop it to this hot and sexy hook!"
  • Keep everything the same from when Cady arrives at the Halloween party to "Wait, what's happening?".
  • Instead of what actually happens in the show after that line, add in Someone Gets Hurt. It will go like this:

    REGINA:
    Yes, I look perfect.
Ice Queen. That's what you see.
That's what they all expect from me.
    But it's
    all show.
    This is performance.
    This is all self-defense.
    People forget I'm human too.
    Yes. They do that.
    Was I too proud
    with you?
Was I too cold and forbidding
That you chose her over me?
    Are you kidding?

    PARTY GO-ERS:
    Are you kidding?

    REGINA:
Poor little me, all trapped in this fabulous show!
You could set me free, but if you're going, go!

    PARTY GO-ERS:
    No, no, no.

    REGINA:
It's fine for you. It's fine to flirt.
And you're so fine that I would let go of the hurt.
    No, it's

    REGINA & AARON:
    Fi - i - i - ine.

    AARON:
    Dang, you're fi - i - i - ine.

    (REGINA):
    (Dang, you're fine.)

    REGINA & AARON:
    And it's fi - i - i - ine.

    REGINA:
    'Til someone gets…

    (They kiss.)

    REGINA:
    'Til someone gets hurt.
    'Til someone gets hurt.
  • Keep everything the same from "She took him back! She took Aaron back!" to the beginning of Revenge Party (Part 1).
  • Have Gretchen say "I mean, gimme it! I mean…" After she says "Kaaaah!... I mean, cuuuuute!"
  • At the beginning of Revenge Party (Part 2), keep Gretchen's spilling-the-beans monologue the same as the full-length musical (including the funny segment about the North Shore Lions costume).
  • Keep everything the same from when the actual lyrics begin in Revenge Party (Part 2) to "She left. She left."
  • For Fearless, shorten the instrumental break by a lot and remove the section from "It feels like the morning" to "like things can change, if you're". Keep everything else after that, though.
  • For Whose House is This?, end the song after the first "Seriously: whose house is this?"
  • For More is Better, remove the section from "See, I don't mind alone." to "that could be how I dress now.", change Cady's line from "What? No!" to "What? No! I'm better than her! No one likes you more than I do! What girl would you prefer?", and then have Aaron sing from "I would prefer the girl you were" to "Then you should have thought it through a bit more." and end the song there.
  • Keep everything the same from "Aaron, wait!" to "And I want my pink shirt!"
  • Keep the entirety of World Burn the same as the full-length musical with the following changes…
  • Cut the lines from "Is this true?" to "Good lord."
  • Change "Trang Pak is a grotsky beyotch!" to "Trang Pak is a grody sasquatch!", "Ms. Norbury's a drug pusher!" to "Ms. Norbury is a pusher!", and "Janis is a space-dyke!" to "Janis is a space-lez!"
  • Keep everything the same from "Never, ever, in my fourteen years as an educator have I seen such vicious behavior." to the end of the show.
